Places to Stay and Eat
There are a lot of great Air BnB options in our area, and not very many good motel/hotel options. Our ceremony/reception is in Colrain, which is quite rural. The closest towns for restaurants and shopping are in Shelburne Falls (small but very charming) and Greenfield (the closest "city").
Our favorite places to eat in the area:
Greenfield:
Hope and Olive, for medium-fancy dinner and brunch
Magpie, woodfired pizza and more, a sister restaurant to Hope & Olive
The People's Pint, a brewery/pub-style restaurant
Mesa Verde, California-style Mexican food
Manna House, delicious Korean food
Green Fields Market, a coop grocery store with lots of prepared food to grab n' go (though there's also a dining area if you'd like to eat in), plus coffee!
Denny's Pantry, not part of the Denny's chain; has classic, cheap, diner-style breakfast and lunch
Turners Falls:
Five Eyed Fox, very hip place with wonderful breakfast and dinner
Rendezvous, great food, open for lunch/dinner and weekend brunch
Montague:
Lady Killigrew and The Alvah Stone are both part of the beautiful/historic Montague Book Mill complex, which is just a mile from our house. Lady Killigrew is casual and has killer grilled sandwiches; Alvah Stone is fancy/expensive but great.
